History
Over the past 25 years, Dibalex has built an impressive track record of technologically advanced and innovative machines. It all began in 1998 with just three people in a small warehouse in Ridderkerk. Founder and director Bert Havenaar takes a brief look back.
Unconventional
"As unconventional engineers, we had our own ideas about conquering the market of profiling machines. With a flexible organization and strategic procurement of parts, we departed from the conventional approach in the market of making everything in-house. This offers advantages for both us and our clients."
Specialization
"We sold our first machine in 1998 at a trade show in Utrecht. There, we presented ourselves as a manufacturer of machines in a niche market and developed the first compact machine for a client in sun shading panels."
Major Breakthrough
"Our major breakthrough came a few years later with a machine for a client who creates systems for cleanrooms." After that, progress was swift. "New clients seeking customized profiling lines have been finding us since then."
Relocation
In November 2001, Dibalex moved to a larger business facility in Alblasserdam. "The demand for profiling machines continued to grow, and by the end of 2018, we moved once again. This new building is equipped with all the facilities to continue providing clients with technologically advanced and innovative profiling machines."
